The morning after a wild night at a fraternity house in Tübingen, Germany. Physics student Sonja wakes up hungover. Is it really the drinks catching up with her, or did she die during the night and become a vampire? But vampires don’t exist, do they? How can something be dead and alive at the same time?
Like Schrödinger’s cat…
Since her vampire mother has disappeared, she must figure out on her own how to manage her nocturnal unpredictability and her hypersensitivity to sunlight. She uses her analytical mindset to avoid drawing attention to herself as a magical creature on a natural sciences campus. Soon she notices that her professor Yolanda isn’t exactly winning her research grants on scientific merit alone, either.
